Off-Site Meeting Venues: Landmarks to Live It Up

Meetings become lifetime experiences when hosted in one of Colorado’s most unique meeting venues.

Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center

This sanctuary, dedicated to the rescue of wolves and wolf-hybrids, offers one-hour educational tours that cover the mammal’s history, biology, and current issues they face. Book a private Interactive Alpha enhancement to get your team up close with the canines, where a staff photographer and wolf handler will help you to experience and capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Elk Glade Ranch

Groups spend a day among the cowboys at this authentic homestead ranch. In between meetings and barbeque meals, you’ll pick your choice of adventures, including horseback rides through open meadows of pine, spruce, and aspen; Jeep tours exploring old stagecoach trails; target shooting, and more.

Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center

Set in Woodland Park near Colorado Springs, this 20,000-square-foot museum offers an extremely unique backdrop for events among displays of fossils from North America's Cretaceous Period, including marine reptiles, pterosaurs, dinosaurs, and more. Rental includes a tour of the museum with trained staff who educate guests about the fossil skeletons on display, followed by a paleo diet–inspired dinner at the resort.

Olympic Training Center

As the home of the US Olympic Committee, Colorado Springs has rightfully earned its moniker as “Olympic City USA.” With more than 10 meeting rooms and 65,000 square feet of event space, the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center offers a unique experience with Olympic athlete–guided tours, sports demonstrations, athlete speakers, and meals at the Team USA dining hall.

Garden of the Gods

Chiseled from the million-year-old red rocks with spires that touch the sky, the Garden of the Gods is an unparalleled location for an inspiring brainstorming session or a picnic at the Scotsman or South Spring Canyon areas. Or, the resort suggests booking a group meditation workshop in the park led by psychic medium and energy practitioner Michelle Houchens, who focuses on management strategies, review of energetic vortexes surrounding employees, and cleansing of trapped energy.
